PGPIRG Alternative Resource Library

PGPIRG boasts one of the largest sources in the region for books, magazines, videos and clippings with an alternative perspective on the world around us. All members are encouraged to borrow materials from the PGPIRG library.
To find books in the PGPIRG Library type the author or title into the search box at the top right of this or any page on the PGPIRG site. Books are also listed in alphabetical order by author here.
The PGPIRG library has a number of books, periodicals and audio visual resources pertaining to social and ecological issues. PGPIRG selects books not available in the university library or other public libraries.
Some topics include: Canadian Politics, Animal rights, Human Rights, Environmental Policy, Globalization, Gender Issues, Ecology and Alternative Technologies. All materials can be checked out by students free of charge. Drop in to check it out.

A survey was recently undertaken on the PGPIRG resource library by a goup of anthropology students at UNBC. To download a copy of a brochure about this survey, click here.
